Villa Cilnia's extra-virgin oil
Villa Cilnia's olive groves belong to the Frantoio, Leccino and Moraiolo varieties. The olives are harvested by hand in November and then given to Giancarlo Giannini's Farm where they become an excellent extra-virgin oil, light and fruity, with the lowest acidity, always below the 0,2 %. Villa Cilnia's extra-virgin oil is recommended by "L'Extravergine", a guide to the best qualities of oils by the UMAO (Mediterranean Union of Oils Tasters). Winner of the best olive oil of Arezzo district award chosen by Andrea Zanfi's guide: "C'è olio e... olio in Toscana 2003".

Our extra-virgin oil is delicious when eaten with the bread and with pepper and salt, a mix where raw vegetables (and all that particular food that enhances its fragrance, taste and lightness) are dipped. But it can also enrich all the several other food preparations.
